No More Scattered Photos

Taking, storing, and sharing your own phone photos and videos sounds simple, but quickly turns into a mess: files scattered across devices, random filenames, missing dates, lost context, and endless text threads and email chains trying to find “that one photo.”

Visit frequency depends on your project’s schedule and level of activity. For most residential builds, we recommend a 360° walkthrough and 360° Panorama captures every one to two months to maintain a consistent visual record from excavation through finish.
That said, the most important time to capture is before cover-up—right after framing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing are in place but before they’re sealed behind drywall or finishes. Capturing these systems at this stage provides invaluable long-term documentation for future maintenance, remodels, inspections, and dispute resolution.
Many clients also schedule captures at the end of each major phase to ensure nothing is missed as the project progresses.

The BuildView360° viewer is a month-to-month subscription, so you can start or cancel anytime with no long-term commitment. Media capture (drone, ground photos, video, 360s) is handled separately either through Coptershotz, your existing provider, or yourself. BuildView360 is where it lives once it’s captured.

Yes. Any user with the proper permissions can upload photos and standard video files directly to the project. Uploads support files up to 200 MB, making it easy to contribute progress shots, videos, or supplemental documentation alongside the professional captures.

360° videos and panoramas are captured as extremely large, high-resolution files that can’t be viewed or streamed efficiently in their raw form. Before they can be used, this media must be stitched, optimized, and prepared specifically for web-based viewing.
The processing fee covers the manual work required to make these large files load smoothly and perform reliably across devices, without buffering or quality loss. Charging this as a one-time fee ensures immersive 360° media is handled properly from the start, while keeping monthly project pricing straightforward and predictable.

Yes. Each project includes a Share button that generates a link or QR code you can share with anyone. Shared viewers don’t need an account or login and receive view-only access to the project. This feature can be disabled if privacy is a concern.

Yes. In the Admin Console, you can create users, assign them to specific projects, and control who can upload, manage, or simply view content. You can update or remove access at any time.

Yes. Inside the 360° video walkthrough, you can freely look in every direction—pause at any moment, rotate the view, and zoom in to inspect framing, mechanical runs, electrical paths, plumbing setups, and material details.

BuildView360° is a mobile-friendly web app, optimized for phones, tablets, and desktops. You can add it to your iPhone Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) or the Android equivalent (Add to Home Screen in Chrome) for fast, app-like access. A dedicated iOS and Android app is coming soon!

Yes. You can record your own 360° videos or aerial panoramas and send them to us. These files are large and require specialized processing before they can be viewed in BuildView360°, and we charge a processing fee for this service. Just drop your media into your project’s Drive folder and we’ll take care of the rest. We can also provide you with our recommended capture settings and lighting techniques for best results, just ask.

Yes. All images, videos, 360° walkthroughs, and panoramas are available anytime through your project’s folder in Google Drive. You can download your full archive whenever you’d like.

BuildView360° is a dedicated visual documentation platform I created for my other company Coptershotz, a Salt Lake City–based drone service provider. After years of delivering construction job site progress photography, video, and aerial panoramas for builders and owners, I developed BuildView360° as a specialized, standalone app to give clients a smarter, more powerful way to view, organize, and share their jobsite media.
As a boutique provider, we continue to offer the same one-on-one attention, integrity, reliable communication, and consistent, high-quality results—now enhanced by a modern, cloud-based platform built specifically for luxury home construction.
